Tags : None Yeah, I was reading my Gameinformer and it talked about the death of Batman, and the ending of any series run with his name or related series (like Nightwing or Robin.) Now there's gonna be a three part story called "battle for the cowl" which sounds like you're fighting for cattle. Looks like Bruce Wayne's a crispy critter. Now, they've had a few changes in characters over the years, but some of them just stay the same regardless. Batman is Bruce Wayne, Superman is Clark Kent. I think it's stupid and while I haven't been able to read comics in a while, I still try to keep up to date with stuff. This, I think, is a really stupid move. I see it lasting maybe a year at most, and then Bruce Wayne coming back to life. They probably only did it because Captain America did it first :P (which would actually be ironic, given their connection in the Marvel vs DC storyline)

Anti-hero The Driver	imo, the main reason it wont work, is due largely to the series and other media spawned from the original core group, in either DC or marvel universe. take away that core, and pretty much everything falls apart around the empty space. Like batman for instance. If bruce dies from anything other than old age, then by proxy, by nixing batsy, you also get rid of every villain hes ever fought, never mind his aspiring disciples from afar, like Huntress, Robin, Batman Beyond's Terry Guinness, and Nightwing, as wel as every villian THEY ever fought, so with the death of one, you just holocausted nearly 100 characters, good bad or otherwise, which WILL piss off the fans. fans boycott, sales drop, and either batman makes a swift ressurection, or the company ends up declining, and in todays economic terrain, theres nothing but cliff.... Posts: 85 03/17/09 13:00:55 Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na Conduit!	I've heard a saying once: "There's no one dead in comics except for Jason Todd and Uncle Ben." Uncle Ben came back with a clone, and Jason Todd came back with some rediculous plot contrivances. So I doubt they're really gonna be so stupid as to replace Bruce Wayne, or kill off Batman. Then again, they did that stupid Blue and Red Superman thing, stupid Ion storyline with Green Lantern, and of course the constant shifting of the Flash (Wally West shouldn't have retired.)

Posts: 29 03/17/09 22:49:00	Ok... batman's not really dead. They show you at the end of the comic. The "bullet somehow transferred his mind to another one of Dc's 52 universes. Somehow he left a chared corpse in superman's arms, but at the very end you see an old man die in a cave, then a guy wearing nothing but a pair of grey tights, with black boots lay a batman belt over the old man, then pain the batman symbol on a cave wall. With captain america... there have been several hints that he really isn't dead, or that the illuminati (secret group of heroes trying to controle the marvel universe) have or are trying to resurect him using the infinity gems (four magic stones that make the wielder practally god). The reason Walley West is retiring is he lost the speed force, and the flash that died in crisis on infinity earths is coming back. Also first big death in comics was Marvel's Captain marvel. Oh and it wasn't a cloned uncle ben, it was an alternite time line uncle ben who died like three months later. And Jason Todd is from one of the other 52 universes. So to recap: Batman not dead; Captain America no idea; Flash is back, Uncle Ben dead times two, and Jason Todd is technically dead. When Bruce Banner gets mad, he turns into the Hulk. When the Hulk gets mad, he turns into Chuck Norris.

Though i did see one of the new batmans' costume, and he looks bad @&&. When Bruce Banner gets mad, he turns into the Hulk. When the Hulk gets mad, he turns into Chuck Norris.
